Staff, Vicki Smith

How Long Does Installation Take?

Typically 5-8 days, depending on system complexity and ground works.

Will Installation Disrupt my Garden?

There will be some excavation for ground loops. However, our professional installers restore the area after works are complete.

There is less disruption for bore hole systems. At Thermal Earth we have our own drilling team and 3 rigs - offering the best service and flexibility.

What Survey is Needed First?

A proper assessment by Thermal Earth includes:

  • Heat loss survey

  • Ground survey

  • System design planning

This ensures optimal efficiency.

Can I Keep my Existing Radiators?

Sometimes. Larger or upgraded radiators may be recommended because GSHPs run at lower temperatures.

When is The Best Time to Install?

Spring and summer are ideal, as heating demand is lower and ground conditions are easier for installation.
